Reaching the residence without a car
Renting a car is easy here, but a lot of guests do not bother. Between the airport being close, the Brightline train, rideshare and the water taxi, a car-free week is very doable — and parking at the building is valet-run and paid, so skipping it saves a little too.

Palm Beach International (PBI) is the closest airport, about fifteen minutes from the island, so a taxi or rideshare from the terminal to the residence is quick and cheap. If you are coming from further afield, the Brightline train stops in West Palm Beach — roughly ten minutes away by car — and connects north to Orlando and south to Fort Lauderdale, Aventura and Miami, with Wi-Fi, power and food on board. It is a pleasant way to arrive, and it means you can spend a day in Miami or Orlando without driving. Our Brightline guide has the routes and timing.
Getting around once you are here
On the island itself, a lot is close: the beach is at the door, and dining and the marina are a short ride away. Uber and Lyft are widely available, a water taxi and shuttle run across the inlet to Peanut Island and Palm Beach, and for the days you do want to roam — the state park, the golf, a drive up to Jupiter — you can rent a car for just those days rather than the whole trip.
